If you are 30+ years old, you are a ‘master’, pop over to the Tennis Masters WBOP FaceBook page for the latest updates on tennis masters’ life in the Bay of Plenty, and sunshine. All affiliated masters club members can join other WBOP/BOP (entire NZ) masters members for a social day at Tauranga Lawn Tennis Club every Thursday (9am – 12pm), $3 admin/ball fee.
If you want to play masters tournaments (30+) there are plenty in the region, and all over NZ – this page has a list of NZ masters tournaments. You need to be affiliated with a club or Tennis WBOP Masters visit their FaceBook page.
If you are in the age bracket 18 -29 there are a lot of ‘Open’ tournaments to participate in as well. Plenty of singles tournaments in Hamilton. Check out the Tennis NZ Event Calendar for all tournaments in NZ. If you are specifically looking for tournaments (open or masters) in your region you can manipulate the ‘Advanced Search’ on the Tennis NZ Tournament Software website or just press ‘Go’ and it will show you upcoming tournaments to enter.
